Akero Chief Development Officer Kitty Yale Named to 2019 Fierce Pharma “Fiercest Women in Life Sciences”
Akero Therapeutics is thrilled to announce that its chief development officer Kitty Yale has been recognized by FiercePharma as one of 2019's “Fiercest Women in Life Sciences.”
Kitty joined Akero from Gilead Sciences, Inc. where she led global clinical operations and management of the company’s oncology, HIV, inflammation and liver disease trials. Prior to joining Akero, Kitty held senior clinical research and operations roles at Gilead Sciences and Roche Global Development. Most recently, as VP of Clinical Operations at Gilead, she led global development programs resulting in eight drug approvals in the US, EMEA, Canada, Korea, Japan and China.
